MG Motors has rolled out a new offer that lets you buy an electric car at an unbelievable price of just ₹4.99 lakh in India.
The company has expanded its Battery on Subscription plan for its Comet EV and ZS EV models, making electric mobility more affordable.
Under this plan, the battery isn’t included in the car’s base price — instead, owners pay a small amount based on how much they drive.
This approach lowers the initial cost of the car, allowing buyers to experience EV technology without paying a heavy price upfront.
With this program, the MG Comet EV can be purchased for ₹4.99 lakh, and the driver pays ₹2.5 per kilometer for battery usage.
The ZS EV now starts from ₹13.99 lakh, with a ₹4.5 per km battery subscription, giving users flexible ownership options.
The Comet EV offers up to 230 km range on a full charge, while the ZS EV provides around 461 km, ensuring smooth and eco-friendly travel.
