Ranveer had participated as a guest judge in Samay Raina's YouTube show India's Got Latent, he is facing criticism from people for raising controversial questions on parents' privacy
To match the dark comedy and adult content of the show, Ranveer Allahabadia asked a contestant a lewd question about his parents' sex life.
After which an uproar started on social media regarding this, and FIR has also been registered against him.
Maharashtra CM Debendra Fadnavis has also talked about taking action against Ranveer, however Ranveer has apologized on the X platform.
Ranveer Allahabadia has approached the Supreme Court requesting immediate hearing and quashing of several FIRs lodged against him.
His case will be represented by Abhinav Chandrachud, a young lawyer and son of former Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud.
Abhinav has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to quash the FIR against Allahbadia.
