A Class 12 student from Gwalior has amazed everyone by building a drone capable of carrying a human.

His name is Medhansh Trivedi, a student of Scindia School, inspired by advanced drone technology from China.

Medhansh’s drone, named “MLDT 01,” can lift up to 80 kg and fly at a speed of 60 km per hour.

The project took three months to build and cost around ₹3.5 lakh. His teacher, Manoj Mishra, guided him throughout the process.

The drone measures 1.8 meters in both length and width and uses four high-power motors similar to those in agricultural drones.

With 45 horsepower, it can fly for six minutes at a height of up to 10 meters for safety reasons.

Medhansh now plans to create a hybrid version that could help in transport, delivery, and agriculture — making drones useful for everyday life.
